Voting awareness program among youth at Jnanajyoti hall
Mr. Tushar Giri Nath, Hon'ble District Election Officer and Chief Commissioner, asked the students that no voter in the city should be lured and everyone should vote without mistake, and all the youth groups should join hands for that.
Speaking after inaugurating the voting awareness program organized by Bangalore City University, Rashtriya Seva Yojana and Election Literacy Club at Jnanajyoti Hall, he said that in the state of Karnataka, public officials are very close to the citizens and do responsive work. Therefore, when a good candidate is selected, more and more development works can be done, he said.
First-time voters should not vote only once but vote correctly in all elections. This will give more strength to democracy. After turning 18 years, there is self-discretion about which subject to choose and which field to go for. Similarly, he said that you should vote for the deserving candidates with discretion as to which candidate should come to your Legislative Assembly constituency.

Special Commissioner Mr. Jayaram Raipur said that if democracy is to survive, every voter should cast his vote without fail.
All of us should be more and more conscious about the elections that are held once in five years. Then we will get full force of democracy. So everyone voted without fail and asked all the students to increase the voting percentage.
